About
Kingston Garden has been feeding Miami's Jamaican community since 2018. We cook the way it's meant to be cooked — whole spices, slow heat, no substitutes.
Our kitchen runs on recipes passed down from our grandmother's cook shop in Kingston's Waterhouse district. We've never changed them, and we never will.
Heritage & Culture
Kingston Garden was born from a single conviction — that Jamaican food deserves the same reverence we give to any great cuisine. Our family has been cooking since our grandmother ran a cook shop in Kingston's Waterhouse district in the 1970s. When we opened in Miami, we brought her recipes and her philosophy: every dish made from scratch, every day, without shortcuts. The people who come to Kingston Garden aren't looking for a tourist version of jerk chicken. They're looking for the real thing — and that's what we've spent three generations learning to make.
